The Madrid City Council, through Madrid Emprende, in collaboration with Acotex, present "Salesas Village [The Festival]" an event whose objective is to stimulate and promote commerce and hospitality in the Salesas neighborhood and which will be held on March 27 and 28 in the Salesas neighborhood.
The Plaza de las Salesas will be the nerve center of the event; In it, small booths will be installed in which various businesses in the area will be represented. Along with them, other booths will be used for various photography workshops, crafts, pastries and other activities for the whole family.
In addition, more than 60 businesses in the neighborhood have joined the campaign which, with different discounts, special offers, gifts and cultural activities, promote this family event in a relaxed atmosphere and for all audiences.
All the activities that will take place in the Plaza de las Salesas, as well as the routes of the shops and gastronomic offer in the area will be reflected in Salesas Newspaper, a publication that will be distributed free of charge exclusively in the shops in the area and will serve as a guide to all passers-by on the activities that will take place in each business.
This event is part of a more ambitious project whose objective is to unite all the commerce in the area, proposing commercial animation and revitalization actions in one of the leading neighborhoods in commerce and gastronomy in Madrid.
With this new project, the Madrid City Council reaffirms its interest in boosting the city's economic activity by supporting the commercial and hospitality sectors, convinced that they constitute the fundamental backbone of the city's daily life and one of the its main tourist attractions and which are facing a deep restructuring process, thanks to which they manage to maintain their unquestionable role in the economic and social development of the city and in the daily life of its citizens.
