What is ENISA?

ENISA (Empresa Nacional de Innovación SA) is a public entity whose objective is to actively collaborate in the financing of business projects that involve innovation in their field, which gives them a competitive advantage and, likewise, they have a viability plan .

This public entity depends on the General Directorate of Industry and Small and Medium Enterprises, integrated in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, and the composition of its shareholders is as follows:

  • General Directorate of State Assets: 97.60 %
  • Center for Industrial Technological Development: 2.21 %
  • Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving: 0.12 %
  • ICEX Spain Exports and Investments: 0.07 %

In this way, ENISA supports viable business projects with a financing alternative, diversifying the sources to which a project can turn and being a complementary option to the various sources of public or private investment.

Your financing lines

ENISA currently has 5 financing lines, aimed at different sectors.

young entrepreneurs

Aimed at recently established SMEs (and startups) created by young people to address the investments required by the business project in its initial phase.

For young entrepreneurs under 40 years of age with innovative entrepreneurship projects. More information

Entrepreneurs

Aimed at supporting the first phases of life of SMEs promoted by entrepreneurs, without age limit.

Aimed at entrepreneurs who want to create companies with a clear competitive advantage. More information

Increase

Aimed at supporting the business projects of companies interested in expanding their business or achieving competitive improvement.

The beneficiaries will be entrepreneurs who are contemplating competitive improvements for their SMEs, a consolidation, growth or internationalization project. More information

Digital Entrepreneurs

The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, MINECO, will allocate up to 51 million euros over the next three years to promote female digital entrepreneurship, through the ENISA Digital Entrepreneurs financing line.

Financing for emerging or growing companies in which one or several women hold a relevant position of leadership or power within the company: as shareholders, on the board of directors or as part of the management team. This line is aimed at both newly created companies and those considering a consolidation, growth or internationalization project. More information

AgroInnpulse

Financing line aimed at promoting the digital transformation of companies in the agri-food sector and rural areas. The funds for this line come from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, and will be managed and administered by ENISA.

For agri-food companies from the entire value chain, that develop innovative and technology-based activities, with special attention to those with the capacity to generate quality employment for young people and women, and that undertake the necessary investments and carry out their business project based on its activity in the generation of new products, processes or services.
